Studio Location
Dayze is currently tattooing in Duwamish lands, so called Seattle, Washington.

Accessibility of space:

❀ KF94 or higher filtration face masks are required inside, and provided if needed.

Covid-19 Precautions:
Please honor these requests when coming to your appointment:
❀ Wear a well fitting KF94/KN95 or higher filtration mask inside the studio.
❀ Reschedule if you are feeling sick, or have been recently exposed to someone who is sick.
❀ If you test positive for Covid-19 within 10 days after our appointment, please let me know.
❀ Please do not bring guests/plus 1’s with you unless needed for accessibility.

Rate:
❀ Dayze offers a sliding scale rate of $125-200 per hour. This rate helps me support myself, and allows me to continue offering accessible tattoos to community.
❀ Minimum per session is $150.
❀ Dayze works with budgets on a case by case basis. There is a section in their booking form to share your budget.

Dayze generally does not offer cover up tattoos. They are open to blast over tattoos (intentional overlap with existing tattoos).
Flash tattoos are pre-drawn designs that are available to be tattooed. More information and available designs are posted here and updated more frequently on my instagram highlights.
Custom tattoos
Encouraged themes:
❀ Plants, nature, butterflies, animals, especially cats, fruits, aesthetic and functional objects, Filipinx related imagery and text, cartoons/anime, healing guides, queerness, cuteness.
Custom requests Dayze will most likely turn down:
❀ Drawings of people, appropriative imagery, behind the ear placements, abstract shapes/colors.
If what you want isn’t on these lists, still feel free to submit a form! Customs will require an additional $50 drawing fee that is separate from the tattoo price. I email custom designs about a week ahead of the appointment to create space for up to two revisions.
You’re welcome to request more than one tattoo for a single session.
After reviewing your booking form, Dayze will reach out by email with a link to their calendar where you will secure your appointment time and design, and pay a $50 deposit, which will go towards the overall cost of the tattoo.
Deposits are generally non-refundable. Please notify Dayze as soon as possible to cancel/reschedule an appointment if needed. Deposits are non-transferable for no-shows, or if they are not notified of a cancellation or reschedule within 24 hours prior to the appointment, except for illness.
Sliding Scale Pricing is a flexible range of prices that adjust to the needs and income of the client. This scale is not to be viewed as a discount, but as an opportunity for more people to experience and receive tattoos at prices that reflect individuals needs and complexity. Paying according to one’s available resources provides a more equitable, accessible and sustainable community while also allowing fair compensation to the artist. You will never be asked for details on your financial situation, we trust that you will pay what you can without sacrificing your basic needs.
Trades
If full financial reciprocity is inaccessible to you, Dayze is occasionally able to support a trade of a tattoo in exchange for your offerings.

Touch ups
You’re welcome to request a touch up if your tattoo heals inconsistently or fades from sun exposure. If you can, wait at least 6 months to a year to receive the touch up to give time for the ink to settle into the skin. To prevent needing a touch up, please wear sunscreen daily. Touch up sessions can be booked individually or added onto another tattoo session.
Rescheduling does not require an additional deposit the first time. Rescheduling a second time requires another $50 deposit that does not go towards the cost of the tattoo. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable for no-shows, or if Dayze is not notified of a cancellation or reschedule within 24 hours prior to the appointment, except for illness.
Cost Estimation
The length of tattoo sessions can range widely, from 1-6 hours.
Some factors that affect the length of a tattoo session are: the amount of detail in the design, the size of the piece, the placement on the body, and colors.
Generally, 1 inch = 0.5 to 1.5 hours. Time can increase if the tattoo is on a more stretchy placement such as a stomach, ribs, joints, etc. Time can also increase if the tattoo has many different colors, and if the design has sections that are completely filled in.
